Overview of Role
To function as the first point of contact for all visitors and clients, ensuring the reception area remains tidy and presentable while performing general administrative tasks to support the team.
Responsibilities
- Front Desk & Visitor Management: Function as the first point of contact for all visitors and clients.
- Call Routing: Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
- Administrative Support: Perform general administrative tasks to support the team
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory and order office supplies as needed.
- Mail Management: Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
- Housekeeping: Ensure the reception area remains tidy and presentable.
Qualification
- A National Senior Certificate (Matric) or a recognized Business Administration qualification
Experience
-
Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Admin Assistant, or similar role
Personal Characteristics
- Bilingual proficiency required (Fluent in English and Afrikaans).
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently.
